Now that we are well into October, many people are starting to think about Christmas. We have sent out details of our portrait offer to some of our database. I thought long and hard about what to offer and hope that the 1/2 price sitting along with 1/2 price canvas wall portraits will encourage people to get a family portrait done or give a gift voucher for a present that will be remembered and treasured for a long time.
We are offering sittings on Saturday’s and Sunday’s and as our studio is easy to get to and we have a car park, it should be easy to get all the family to come along. The sitting in our beautiful new studio will be fun, and even those who dread getting their photograph taken usually enjoy the session.
The viewing appointment is also good fun when you can choose from great products including canvas, acrylic, aluminium, or beautifully framed prints. We can let you visualise them hanging on your wall to scale (if you give us a photograph of where they are going to hang) and ensure you get something beautiful to enhance your home.
I hope you are encouraged to consider this and look forward to seing you in the studio soon.

The wedding I photographed on Saturday was a very special wedding for me as my best friend’s son was the lucky Groom marrying the beautiful Nina. I have known Paul, eldest son of Stuart Clarkson, (owner of Soul and many other busineses in Aberdeen) since he was a very young boy, and I have photographed him many times over the years (see below) . As well as being the photographer, Sandra and I were guests. Lukas was working with me taking the reportage shots and it was agreed that once we sat down for the meal, he would do the rest. This almost worked out but I had to take two large groups after the meal but after that I was free to enjoy a fantastic night at the Forum, another venue co-owned by Stuart with Hytham Bedawi.
